Marcus joined Tewksbury & Kerfeld in April of 2025. He practices in the areas of personal injury, insurance defense, and general litigation.
Earning his B.S. from St. Cloud State University, studying Economics and Finance, Marcus spent over a decade as a risk manager advising clients for a national insurance company. He graduated from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2019.
As an attorney, and before joining the firm, Marcus served as a civil litigator for Messerli Kramer PA. There, Marcus developed strong litigations skills earning a reputation for diligent preparation and a pragmatic approach to complex legal issues. Marcus has successfully represented his clients in a majority of the District Court jurisdictions in Minnesota advocating plaintiff’s claims, defending counterclaims and appellate matters.
Marcus’ strong commitment to listen and advocate for his clients along with his diligence in the court room, makes him a valuable addition to Tewksbury & Kerfeld.
Marcus grew up in Minnesota and lives in Plymouth. He enjoys outdoor recreation, sports, and spending time with family and friends. Marcus is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and Montana.
